Bauhinia blakeana

Environmental Improvement Function

Bauhinias are widely used to improve the environment. Like other plants, they absorb carbon dioxide and give out oxygen to improve the air quality. Besides, they serve as shelters and food sources for animals and help attract more wildlife to dwell in our city. Mass planting of Bauhinias could also regulate the urban micro-climate to make our living environment more comfortable.
